A service ofPaint Wizards
Interior and exterior painting for Grand Junction homes, from accent walls and painted paneling to doors, cabinets and full color changes.

Inside and out
Residential painting covers your whole home: the living room that needs a new color, the hallway full of scuffs, the bedrooms, the trim and the doors, and the outside of the house when it's ready. Paint Wizards handles interior and exterior painting for homeowners across Grand Junction and the rest of our service area.
Inside, we protect what isn't getting painted, like the masking paper and tape you can see around the wall in this photo, so the only thing that changes is the color.

Paneling
Yes, and it's one of the biggest changes you can make to a dated room. The photo at the top of this page shows a paneled wall painted white during a Paint Wizards job.
Painting paneling well takes more than a roller. The surface needs to be cleaned and scuffed, and a bonding primer helps paint stick to the slick factory finish. Some homeowners also choose to fill the grooves for a flatter look, while others like the texture the grooves add.
Make a statement
A dark accent wall adds depth and drama to a room, but deep colors are less forgiving than light ones. Cut lines along the ceiling and corners have to be clean, coverage has to be even, and most dark colors need more than one coat to look solid without streaks.
The finished wall pictured here is a real Paint Wizards project. If you're considering a bold color, we can help you think through the sheen and the lighting in the room so it looks the way you picture it.

Doors, closets and cabinets
Yes. Some of our favorite residential jobs are the details people look at every day: six panel interior doors, bifold closet doors, door trim and kitchen cabinets. Fresh paint on oak or dated wood cabinets can change the whole feel of a kitchen without replacing a single box.
Every cabinet and door project starts with a look at what you have and the color you want, so you know the plan and the price before we pick up a brush. You can see a few of these jobs, before and after, in our gallery.

Before we arrive
A little prep on your end helps the day go smoothly, and it means more of the time goes into painting instead of moving things around.
